No there are no safe appetite suppressants for a nursing mother, don't even think about it while nursing.

a cousin started dieting while she nursed and the baby didn't get everything she needed, ended up sick and had to go to Duke Hosp. for testing cause they thought she had MS. only after the tests from Duke came back negative did good ole mom own up to the diet(dr. and dad were furious cause that was one of the first things she had been asked, but denied.)

as for the stretch marks, you can go to bath and body works and get a lotion in their spa line called "lay it on thick" it is intense in shea butter so will help the stretch marks

None. Whatever you take into your body goes into you breast milk and into your baby. If you want to lose the weight exercise more, breastfeed more often, a few minutes sitting there nursing takes up hundreds of calories. Instead of eating grains and carbohydrates eat fruits and vegtables, drink water when you feel the urge to eat. But you need to eat healthy to be able to continue to breastfeed.

go to walgreens or your local drug store ask the pharmacist for recommendations on what you can take it wont be a suppressant but probably a filler like a fiber pill or something like that that will expand in your belly.
