Meridian is my all-time favorite Stargate episode. What can I say, I'm a total Daniel-fangirl. But does anyone know why the episode he dies in is called 'Meridian'? I'm a geography major so the one definition I come up with (lines of longitude) certainly doesn't make sense in the broader scheme of things. Do you know for a fact what it represents or have a suggestion what the writers might have been referring to?

Meridian also means the highest point or stage of development. This is when Daniel ascended.
