Everyone is giving her such a hard time, but she is showing classic signs of bipolar disorder, which means she's ill and needs help, and not being weird for publicity sake. Yes, one of the symptoms of bipolar is taking drugs/drinking heavily, but her wacky out of control behaviour just means she needs medical attention quick!

Increased energy, activity, and restlessness,
Excessively "high," overly good, euphoric mood , Unrealistic beliefs in one's abilities and powers, Poor judgment, Spending sprees, A lasting period of behavior that is different from usual, Increased sexual drive, Abuse of drugs, particularly cocaine, alcohol, and sleeping medications
Provocative, intrusive, or aggressive behavior, Denial that anything is wrong

I think you may be right. Her substance abuse may be only a symptom of a post-partum mood disorder. Most people only think of post-partum depression but hypomanic, manic and mixed episodes also can occur in the post-partum period. Rehab is for people with substance dependence. If Britney's substance abuse is secondary to a mood disorder then rehab is not the place to go. You need to treat the primary disorder.

Abso-freaking-loutely. The girl is wigging out... I think she's probably gone overboard with the drugs because she's depressed and all this acting out are just indicators of her condition... She needs to sober up first and foremost and receive treatment and counciling for her issues. It's not easy being a new Mom with two small children, going through what's now a messy divorce, and having to deal with all the crap of the media probably isn't making things better... I mean think about it- the lady basically missed being a teenager because she was working the entire time and then threw herself into marriage and parenthood... She didn't allow for any time to transition. I'd be wigging out too!

all she wants is attention.. plain and simple.. and as far as all this acting out it's a bid to have mommy and FEDEX worry about her and do for her like before.. She has this problem about being "Miss EVerything" well , if she had to live like the rest of us she would be in jail or in hospital and her kids in foster care.. but just because she is Britney she gets away with stuff... Maybe for a change she should be treated like normal folks .. Let the real jail have her and let the foster care people take care of her kids til they are old enough to see what their mommy is really like...

You might very well be onto something. She well might be. The whole Hollywood thing is enough to make people go crazy. Maybe she had a problem just waiting and the Hollywood thing, family, and everything else she needs to deal with are just too much for her. I do feel sorry for her and I do wish her well in trying to get her life back together.

i do no longer think of Britney is bipolar, i think of she is attempting to discover herself on a similar time as the paparazzi and others are harassing her. She desires help and love from her friends and family individuals spectacular now.

i am so glad you brought it up. bi-polar was the first thing that crossed my mind after the hair incident. it makes me angry that people in general form opinions without knowing all the facts, just hearing or reading snipits of info. and people who do not know much about mental illness just don't understand.

bipolar? no. lacking good judgement....you bet. dont feel bad for britney she is trying to stay in the lime light after screwing up her wonderful career. she is over, she is a terrible mother, k-fed is no better. just another star that couldnt hold on to who she is and stay true to herself. now she is tainted and her career is just over. she is over.

classic signs? oh like u can tell from a few video clips. she's just really immature, she couldn't handle her fame, then she has kids and she clearly is not ready to be an adult and take care of them. she needs to get a life
