Immigration? Taxes?

how many people do you think that sit on here and complain about mexicans not paying taxes or say that our tax dollars paying for mexicans to be here,, how many of those people do you think don't have jobs themsleves??? how can they comment or complain when they aren't paying taxes??? just give me a number how many people?

i didnt ask you people to write me and complain about mexicans and borders,, my question is how many people sit on here and complain about mexicans and taxes and they themselves arent paying taxes, now if you cant answer that then go on to the next question and skip mine,, this is a poll question,, one simple answer, i dont need a immigration lecture if i wanted one id go to an immigration forum, and nothing u say is gna make me agree with u anyway

See the thing is this...there are many, many wealthy American citizens who can afford to pay an accountant, an attorney, and/or a financial adviser to conveniently disguise their income and avoid paying the taxes they owe. Many, many American citizens cheat the government out of money each and every year. I don't see everyone on here b*tching & complaining about that! Of course it's easier to point fingers at others rather than take the blame ourselves. Our social security system was in jeopardy LONG before the Hispanics arrived. We screwed that up all by ourselves. It's just "convenient" now that we have someone else to blame. Many Hispanics who work here do pay taxes into our government with no hope of ever being able to claim any unemployment, social security, welfare, medicaid, or medicare yet we want to gripe & complain that they send their kids to school and "we" pay for it. At the same time we're griping and complaining that they aren't speaking English yet how can they learn English if they don't go to school?! Why can't we just all live in peace and let the people who come to work & make a better life for themselves & their families do so in peace? The same way all of OUR ancestors did?!

The sad thing is, Mexican immigrants are some of the hardest working and spectacularly underpaid workers in this country. And, Mexicans are subject to "taxation without representation"

From the construction sites of New York to the meatpacking plants of Iowa to the luxury hotels of Las Vegas, Mexican workers are working hard (some of them are working right now as we speak) most of them pay taxes (unless their boss pays them off the books), few if any of them will get a tax refund and none of them have any say in how their taxes are spent because they are not allowed to vote!

It's funny to read some folks calling Mexicans "lazy" - considering the reality that Mexicans work harder than just about anybody else in this country these days!! That shows you how racism can addle people's minds and blind them to the real world!

You must be crazy! There are way less citizens with jobs then immigrants without. I also personally think that it is unfair the way that Mexicans can just sneak over the border while people from other countries have to wait and sign papers to get in. It's like cutting the lunch line except a hundred times worse.
