Since I have downloaded IE 7 it crashes a lot. Is there a fix for this or am I screwed?

try www.mozilla.org you can get an alternate browser to download updates to IE 7.0 from Microsoft.com

Every version of IE I've ever had has been a little buggy. I no longer use it AT ALL. I use another browser called firefox. It's just overall better. No bugs. Pop up protection that works without disabling what you need. Things just LOOK better.

yes mine crashes often. i've had good luck with aol explorer it is based on ie but seems to be more stable however the toolbars etc do not work there which may be why its more stable.

Last week I had to go through my entire system and figure out what was wrong. It may have been my anti-virus and firewall. A glitch of some kind or a virus.

flow back to information superhighway explorer 7. version 8 is crap nonetheless. tried it, valueless improve. forget approximately all the chrome and all that and the different fancy stuff they attempt to push on the conventional pc person. save it basic in case you do no longer opt to apply firefox basically use ie7.

It might be your hardware not benig capable of processing all the info. Scan for adware, spywaare and viruses because they can suck up your processing power causing your computer to run really slow and making it incapable of running IE7.
