I love Lord of the rings.

I don't know where you got this impression, but I'm a girl, and I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I don't like Lord of the Rings nearly as much, but I did enjoy it.
I don't think girls hate Star Wars or Lord of the Rings in particular; some just happen to not like it. I could even say, Why do guys not like Star Wars or the Lord of the Rings series? That statement is too general.

Then you have not spoken to the right girls. Every human being has different likes and dislikes. With the amount of money both series have brought into the box office then it is safe to say that it was not only the male species watching those movies.
I have always enjoyed Star Wars and now Lord of the Rings. It just depends on the girl, woman, lady. Read the books and start a book discussion group and you'll see lots more girls attend. Girls like to read the book, sometimes, before seeing the movie.

I also love Star Wars (barring the second and third episodes), but I do hate Lord of the Rings. Ug! Oh, and I like Star Trek too. They're so funny sometimes...

i wouldn`t say all girls in general.i like star wars and i love lord of the rings.the last one was just tough to watch because you had to sit still for soo long.other than that it was great!
