Sounds like you just need to find yourself. Stop trying to impress the rest, and be the best. be true to yourself. be respectful, believe in yourself. Focus on things you are good at. Emphasize your strengths, Downplay your weaknesses. get involved in something, preferably something you like. try to have fun. Develop a skill. Work hard, play hard, and be honest.
When people see you having fun, and being involved, you will generate new friends, and others will show up too.

Get together with the kids you hang out with in school. You said you have tons of friends there, so ask some of them to hang out. Don't worry so much about fitting into a certain group. Hang out with people you talk to in school and people who are like you. It's better to have a couple of really good friends you can trust than to have a bunch of people around that you aren't that close to. Good luck.

Awe. well i mean, make ppl laugh, ask your friends in school if they wanna hang out after school or do something on the weekends. dont be the little emo kid in the corner that runs away everytime someone looks at them. But dont be desperate either. Good Luck!
