I have one almost 100%. What do you think about them? Are they really as scary as we think? Or are they more afriad of us?

Wish I could summit a picture. My wolf is 77%. He is so oving and affectionate. They are not what we normally think they are. You would be so amazed. I am. I am a vet tech and he requires lots of attention but he is so worth it. He wonderful with my little girl and the older boys, the cat etc. I just dont think we can judge animals by the make they are what they are based on personality and how they are taught

In my opinion, wolves are wild animals.
Very few people are qualified to own one. They are much too unpredictable.
It is true that dogs can be unpredictable too, any animal can be, but a wolf WILL be. They are not domesticated.

My honest opinion is that wolves are wild animals and it is cruel to take them out of the wild and try to domesticate them. Even puppies born in captivity are wild animals and it is unfair to expect a wild animal to act like an ordinary dog. When they bite they mean business, it's their nature to be territorial and aggressive, therefore a wolf can be dangerous to humans and other domesticated animals. If your wolf attacks a human, the law dictates that the animal be put down - even if the human was on your property and the wolf was just being a wolf and defending his territory! Is that fair to the wolf? I think it's mean to keep a wild, free animal as pet.

wolves are less dangerous than dogs trying getting close to a wolf in the wild its gonna run or at least keep its distance we are pretty scary to them, a dog its probaly gonna bark growl and maybe attack dogs being much more familiar with us being the problem. now hybrids that's a different matter. they are risky due to the fact that they may have the power of a wolf and the aggressiveness of the dog they were bred with not a good mix kinda like a Chihuahua the size of a Rottweiler. So yes wolves a definetly more afaid of us

I think they are beautiful but how do you mean? As a wild animal or as a pet? I just posted a question about a neighbors cat almost getting killed and my son saved the cat. But we believe one of the dogs that attacked it was part wolf.

The most serious thing I've heard about wolves is that they are very unpredictable.
I have a friend who had a wolf/husky mix for 5 years and never had any trouble with it, then it attacked 2 of his kids without provocation inside of a week and he had to give it to another man with no kids.
That man hasn't had any trouble with it, but he and his wife want to have children now and don't know what to do.
Proceed cautiously.

wolves are iffy creatures.. my grandpa's blck lab got bred on acidently, to his neighbors wolf.. all the now 3 year old dogs except for 1 have had to be put to sleep because of certain reasons... i am sorry but i think u would be better off with a naturally domestic dog.. for u and ur familys safety.

from the documentries and news reports i have seen..wolf dog hybrids are dangerous. they still have many survival instincts that dogs are missing.. your wolf will see you as the alpha male or maybe female? anyone else is considered not part of the pack. because of this pecking order they are especially dangerous to children. the reports i saw had more than one account of these wolf dogs attacking children.

Rabid wolves, espicially the hungry ones, are the ones we assoicate with ALL wolves--for they're plenty out there....and they're plenty lethal.
As for the other wolves who ARE NOT rabid or hungy to insanity, I'll say they're misunderstood, but branded with that all too familiar wolf stigma. Common sense, however, says treat all wolves as if they're dangerous....because they are WILD animals.

I think they are very intelligent; but don't forget that they still have some wildness in them. They would be very protective of whoever is in their 'pack'
