Okay, well I got the ipod wet, but i let it dry for a week or less... and just recently i connected it, and to my suprise it did turn on and it displayed "Do not disconnect". so i left it there for about an hour. As i disconnected it, it turned off on me as if it didnt charge. What's wrong?

Your iPod needs to recharge still. Don't disconnect it till the charge icon (the rectangle looks dark) is charged. Let it stay for a day.

If you are having problems, you have to go to iTunes and reset the factory settings. When you reset your iPod nano, it is like new again.

Or

You can check your iPod warranty and see if you can get a new one or find ways in getting it repaired. DON'T open the casing or get new iPod parts from eBay.

And please, next time if you get an iPod, don't have it next to anything liquid.
