I want sooo badly to help my friend to raise her self-esteem.
What are some things I can make her do so she can raise her self-esteem?

Encourage her!
Every time she says she "can't" do something-tell her she can. Remind her that she can do anything if she pushes for it and finishes each race she gets in.
Compliment her!
Tell her "good job" or "keep it up" each time she does something that she never thought she could do.
Every time she feels insecure tell her that looks don't matter. Tell her that she's got a great personality and the people who DO have a good body or whatever, won't stay "perfect" forever.
(Say what you mean though. Don't just remember what we said. It will mean and help more if you say stuff in your own words.)

You know, just be positive with her and help her see how important she really is-not just to you, but to the rest of the people in her life.

Good luck!

When you do say nice things to her, she may not believe you, but continue being there for her. It sounds like she may need some counseling. I can't remember the author, but there is a book called 'You Are What You Think' which is great for raising self-esteem. I'm in the middle of reading it, and it is doing me a world of good.

just tell her you have fallen in love with her, her head will swell the size of a basketball (as will her self esteem). your esteem (ego) may take a nose dive when you find you can't have her but anything for a friend, right?

Tell her what you see when you look at her. My friend does this for me and it usually works. It'll give your friend a dose of reality, a better perspective. Good luck!
