When I was growing up, I always had a cat and dog sleeping with me. Duchess was a little dachsund and Kitty Sue was a siamese cat. They both slept with me every night.
Now that I'm grown, I have about 6 cats that sleep with me every night. It's nice in the winter, they keep me very warm. But, sometimes it gets really crowded when they try to take over and leave me no place to turn! I love them though.

My mom got a Siamese cat when I was about a year of age, and when I was growing up he was my best friend (we lived in a rural area) every picture that my mom has of me from the time I was 3 to Kindergarten age Kitchey is in the picture with me even in deep snow, but to answer your question I did sleep with him every night he was right beside me with his head upon my arm until he lost his battle with cancer at the age of 19, he was the best and only friend I've ever had for that long and is still missed 13 years later.
And I presently have three cats now that sleep in the bed with us sometimes at the same time and boy do we wish that we had gotten the King size mattress!

ok, here comes the previous fuddy duddy. while you're unlikely to rhyme a poem do no longer quit after the 1st 2 lines. It gets the poem off to a pretend rhythm. paintings slightly and you have an dazzling poem.

i dont remember a night that i didnt have a dog or cat on my bed, and my savanna moniter used to sleep in my bed under the covers on a heating pad(before i got engaged)

I have always had a dog and they have alway slept either in my bed or in thier own bed in my room. even today my dog sleeps with us. They are a part on my family. :)

My black n white cat, Tommy.
After I was older, one of my German Shepherds would 'sneak' into bed once in a while. It was so comforting having that big girl nearby.
Now I have four cats, three of whom are usually in bed with us!
