I have a website for pics of my kids, and I use tracking software to make sure that no one I don't know is going to the site. I generally am able to track who it is, but someone has been looking at pictures of just me (not the kids) and it's kinda creepy. Can anyone tell me the general location of:

I believe it is coming from SoCal but would like to make sure. If I can't figure out who it is I may abandon the site.

try running a traceroute to that hostname..
rr.com is Road Runner (which is Time Warner)..
and yah..you'd be right, it's somewhere in Southern California

try using the tracert command (tracert IP). It uses hops on routers to trace it back to it's origin. As far as the physical location, there is probably a site (something like this:http://www.internic.net/whois.html) that can help.

Do a geolocate for an IP.
