I agree with you, she wasn't a bad person at all who went misunderstood by so many including her own family. I say this because I believe Anna about everything she said her mother did to her and I really don't care who doesn't believe her because I do. Anyway, she said that her mother was jealous of her, she whipped her, beat her, and other things probably happened that she didn't want to reveal to the public in her interviews; why else would Anna want to leave Texas by any means necessary. Anna wanted to leave Texas and never return; I mean, she fell in love with J. Howard Marshall because she felt sorry for him and I'm guessing that she didn't even know he was a billionaire the first time he came into the club but she found out later and as time went on and yeah, he was old but he was going to die whether or not Anna met him because that's what God had planned for him, it was his time to leave this world. After he died, Anna continued to model for Playboy and continued working in modeling. After realizing her talent for modeling, she began working at it with a few acting roles here and there, she loved the attention and people loving her so she stuck to it and developed her own character. I think the people around Anna pushed her to drugs because she had a lot of stress from her fans, the media, paparrazzi, and the people who worked with her or around her made her try them so that's why she was like that. Anna was living the fast life in Hollywood that contributed to her downfall. Anna was a misunderstood person who couldn't trust anyone except for her son, Daniel; when she lost him, she lost herself. I think that Anna just needed to trust someone and she never found that person.

Anna Nicole was definitely a lost soul but it gets me, how the public will bash someone but while she was alive, SOMEONE mainly people kept her in the limelight because if she was not able to draw audiences noone could sell her!

She was a person who just looked for attention in all the WRONG places and people. May she soon be laid to rest with her son who a blind man can see she loved dearly. She may not have the been the type of mother that majority would call a "mother" but her and her son loved each other in their own lifestyle, let them rest in peace.

Right. Anna Nicole Smith was a lost, misdirected soul, but she wasn't a bad person. Jeffrey Dahmer was a bad person, Ted Bundy was a bad person...Anna Nicole never hurt anyone but herself.

We don't really know how much they say about her is actually true. It's obvious she had drug problems. Most people with substance dependence are not bad people. They just have a problem and need help. It's obvious that she probably married that old guy for money not love but how many other people have married for money? Before we call people whores, druggies, etc. we need to look in our own backyards.

i dont think she was a bad person, she did what she wanted when she wanted and most people are scared of what people might think of you but she didn't. She wasnt scared to be herself, she was crazy though but overall I don't think she was a bad person things must have gotten really hard for her after her son died. It's sad that everyone wants in on her $$$$$ even her mom whom she didn't like or talk to!!! :-(

i certainly wouldnt call her a role model by any means. she let her celebrity get the better of her and no one would tell her no. not even her doctor.....whom by the way, should lose his license to practice medicine. she was weak minded and let others run her life instead of taking charge. good mother? i think not! she was a bad influence on her son who just so happens died just like she did. we all have a choice in our life to do the right thing or wrong thing. she chose to do all the wrong things and she is dead. she brought it all on herself and no one should pity her for her bad decisions.

She loved her son and she did allot of things that many people don't know about to help underprivileged children. she was also very beautiful and talented and all of this has to count for something, right?

She was an immoral person, incredibly not the role-model type. She slept around with tons of guys, starved herself because of her image, fell into depression when her son committed suicide, and wanted to die in style, so she would be in the limelight.
