Is anyone else out there a super big M*A*S*H fan/dork. I have all the season's on DVD, and I know most of the shows by heart. I watch them every night on my way to sleep. Not to mention, The show ended when I was 9 months 19 days old. I even have the old trivia board game. I have three t-shirts, a patch, and the Chevrolet poster advertising the final episode.

Trivia: Who becomes upset when Col. Potter strikes up a friendship with a middle-aged nurse?

I liked the Trapper episodes, too. Word on the street is Trapper left because he felt like a sidekick. On the other hand BJ was a silent prankster (Episode 5.7 Dear Sigmund). Also, his first words to Frank were "How goes it Ferret Face."

The Family Guy also makes fun of the last years of the show. They are more serious than the earlier shows.

I am a fan, but I have forgotten some of the stuff; if you want to ask M*A*S*H*trivia questions, though, bring it on.

I too am a fanatic when it comes to M A S H. My daughters tease me all the time that I should know the lines by heart. I agree that Trapper episodes were better. So were the ones with Frank Burns, before Charles. Actually all the original characters ( in the tv show) were better. Same goes here..bring on the trivia. Radar became upset about Col. Potter and the nurse his own age.

I love the show, and used to be really good at the trivia. My favorite character was Radar. I loved the way he could always tell things were going to happen. He was so loveable sleeping with his teddybear.
He is who became jealous when Col Potter found a friend.
I believe Margarets other love was Sully or Scully, not sure which name is right.
My favorite episode is the one where BJ says "what say you ferret face" it was hilarious.

M*A*S*H was the biggest show in the 70s and had a hugely loyal following. The show is a bit dated now, i.e., the characters and themes seem more in tune with the 70s than the early 50s, but regardless it is still a great show.

Thanks for the info on the DVDs, I didn't ever think that show was available in that format.

By the way, the last 3-4 years of the show are pretty crummy.

I used to watch it all the time, but my husband doesn't like it because his dad watched it all the time and he got tired of it. I think I liked the episodes better with Trapper instead of B.J., although they were all pretty good. They were always pulling something on Frank Burns, weren't they? :)

YES !IT WAS A GREAT SHOW WITH LOTS OF HUMOR AND SERIOUSNESS ABOUT WAR! I FELT IT GAVE AMERICA ANOTHER SIDE TO THE WAR THAN JUST THE KILLING!!! THE SAVING OF LIVES ON BOTH SIDES AND THE HUMOR NEEDED TO STAY SAIN AT TIMES WHEN THE DOCTORS AND NURSES NEEDED IT THE MOST AND THE CHAPLIN TO SAVE THE SOULS OF THE LIVING AND THE NEAR DEAD!!!
