do u love somebody?then doesnt he have the guts to convince ur parents that he'll look after their daughter like a princess.or is there some religous hindrance.in either case try to convince ur parents .if he cannt stand by u now then he'll never stand by u ever.so think over and then decide.
coming to ur qst having a partner is better,u have some bodys shoulder to rest ur head upon at the end of the day.

It is better to have a life partner but the life partner has to chosen with most care, whether he is lovabe and other aspects according to ur wish. then life will be more happy

they know what is best for their child. you can try to convince if possible after introducing your mate. but lastly it is he who sees a good for you.
