Does your wireless connection have a signal meter? Check it and make sure your network isn't cutting in and out.

I had a strong signal in my house but it disappeared at random and the same thing happened. Turned out that the Wireless Router and our cordless phone shared the same bandwidth and channel, so when someone used the phone, my internet cut out and failed.

Try checking your setup in the router and try a different channel. Use channel 1, 6 or 11 first since it doesn't cross into other 2.4GHz traffic, but if those fail (if other neighborhood routers have them clogged up) then try the rest. Changing the channel will not interfere with your existing settings, such as SSID or Network Key, so it should be safe.

if you are using the built in windows thingy to manage it, then you need to find the list where u can set order in which it will attempt to connect to networks

double click icon in tray > properties > wireless networks

Hey go to wireless connection settings, and configure it to only connect to your network, because its probably set to connect to any available network!!!
