I am looking at getting one of these two, great, rock roll tested guitars. Some of my favorite music is played with one of these two instaments. Which one would you say is better and which do you prefer?

Gibson Les Paul coz its better looking and has a greater sound then Fender Starocaster, and der r so many cheaper brand replicas of Fender, but Gibson is too goood to copy so i personally think you should get a Les Paul.

I have a Fender Stratocaster, the same exact one Eric Clapton used, the big problem is keeping it in good condition (tuning pegs, pick-ups, strap locks). I take great care of all my instruments, but my Fender equipment including basses are always a hassle. I would go for a Gibson ES-330, but a Les Paul is never a bad choice.

Both are great guitars....those are the 2 guitars you see the most but I prefer the Gibson Les Paul....warmer tones & don't have the volume knob right where you play...the main reasons I don't play the Strat!!!

Gibson all the way baby! But they are heavy so watch out if you play on stage or standing up alot then maybe not the best choice because it causes pinched nerves in the shoulder
