hands down, it goes to Kobe.. its not because of the rings (cause others involve Shaq) the basis of this comparison, its the overall ability of the players.. I think Kobe has the advantage in penetration, in shooting i think they're equal.. And as an addition Tmac has Yao in his back, Kobe has none but the Lakers are still in contention..But what makes Kobe better is his ability to get it done in the clutch.. I know Tmac had some moments of his, but cmon,to whom would you give the ball to take the last shot??

I would have to say tracy mcgrady is better, but kobe has accomplished a lot more. Kobe Bryant has won 3 championships that he did win with one the best centers of all time. Tracy McGrady i would say has more skill and hits more difficult shots then Kobe. If t-mac and yao were healthy the rockets would be one of the top teams in the NBA. T-mac is also a less selfish player than Kobe, and better all around. very close, but i would say mcgrady

As much as i hate to admit this, it's Kobe. He is probably better at creating out of nothing (it's really close between the two). Although, Kobe is a ballhog, and T-Mac learned to dish the dimes this year. They have different games. Kobe is a shooter who can drive, while T-Mac is a driver who can shoot. In my opinion, Kobe isn't the overrated "superstar" that he is, and until he
makes his teammates better (like T-Mac), then he'll never be that.

who ever said, Kobe=3 rings, T-Mac=0 rings, lets see how many rings Kobe gets without Shaq. And T-Mac is playing without Yao and their still winning. With a bad back T-Mac busts Kobe's a$$.

i would say T-mac because he is two time scorer champ and kobe is a one time score champ and T-mac is caraying the rockets with out yao their 18-8 and he is a mvp canidate to and he is better alround player then kobe is and if u knew lakers lost six straight games with kobe they won yesterday aginst a soorry team boston kobe cant carrie his team like T-mac and he aint a better team player then T-mac that why i think T-mac is better player then kobe

T-Mac is more of a team player to get everyone involved then wins it in the clutch. Kobe can score more, but T-Mac is still the better player

Everyone that said TMAC is a retard. He can even pull the rockets with yao, Kobe is pullin a team all by himself. Kobe is better at every aspect of the game.

when well T Mac is a very tough matchup...shoots the long three effortlessly and has nice range and moves around the paint, but...I'll take Kobe...he is always a threat with the ball, plays tenacious defense and has stayed very healthy compared to Tracy
