I would be Elinor Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility. She is very practical, like myself, and while this is sometimes a good thing, it can also get in the way of the inpractical feeling of love. She puts others before herself, even at the cost of herself. Yet in the end, her reward comes.

If I were a Jane Austen character, I would be one of the men that went off to a distant land, perhaps to fight in a colonial war, since I would find the 'genteel' society to be a bore, and unrewarding.

Anne Elliot from Persuasion. She started off as such a weak character but I was so proud of her for standing up for herself and taking what she wanted in the end. She was so real and authentic.

Probably a mix of Jane and Elizabeth Bennet. I can be shy and softspoken, but also sarcastic, witty, outspoken, and proud.

Emma. She's precocious, smart, funny, a little spoiled and forward thinking for her time. Very interesting character, I think.
