I don't understand...?

OK, I know about team spirit and all, but I just don't understand why guys go crazy for sports' teams. If you are on the team, yeah, I get it, but if not, then I don't understand tatooing oneself or using the logo as a primary decorating motif. This may piss a lot of people off, but like I said, I don't get it.
