There is no evidence that currently recognized "constants" in physics are indeed constant and ever unchanging. They are so-called because we are not aware of any change.

Hi. Some are mathematically so, like the ratio of the diameter of a circle to it's circumference (Pi). Some are less accurate such as the ratio of proton mass to an electron. This is not to say a proton or electron has a constant, unchanging mass. Just that we have not observed any change or deviation.
