'Spartacus' has to be the epic film with the best soundtrack.
While it's not an epic, the score to 'Return to Oz' is really wonderful.
My vote for Best Film Score Ever goes to:
Little Buddha (music by Ryuichi Sakamoto) This score is lush, gorgeous, heartbreaking, soothing, haunting, uplifitng: I can listen to it over and over and over again.
