I'm assuming you purposefully ignored the fact that humanity has
overcome an incredible amount of evaluational resistance to get to where we are at , at the moment...rite..? So,.. it seems to me you are referring to whether or not humanity has reached a point it's achievements are going to satisfy any up-coming challenges to our continuance... am i in the ball game ...or not?
If i understand the question correctly, here's what i think.. individually we are notoriously individualistic..not a thing about our ideology's will become globally generic to our species. I suspect we will inevitably be required to capitulate with our environments, and nature, and our spirituality,...our survivability will require it... our 'god' concepts are going to HAVE to mature along with our intellects, or, we are going to have to find a more functional context for our social /spiritual orders.
Naturally, the religious folks will scream bloody hell when reading this, but time and reality's will settle the issue regardless, and it is no great difficulty to see there is some disparity in attempting a maintenance of a concept 2000 years old already, and furthering it even longer without some kind of maturity into the present.

It is not something which CAN be mastered, it is a bit like saying how long will it take for us to master the Universe. Self control perhaps. Mastery? No, I think not.

Maybe you had a specific aspect of human nature in mind...?

Our institutions and evolved morality are trying to do the job now. An ever sharpening of the tools of justice will help to MODIFY human nature, but you do not really wish to master what makes us human.

We are not meant to master human nature. We are to spend our lives examining, exploring, and experiencing the many wonders of human nature. We are the MASTERS of NOTHING. We only create the illusion that we are.

I know! It sounds like it should be so easy but so many don't even concern themselves with it. It could only happen when all humans see the importance.

When he distinguishes himself from animals,
then he becomes a human.

When he realises that he is the highest of all
creation, then he becomes a human.

When he devolops his intellect,
then he becomes a human.

When he becomes an example for others,
then he becomes a human.

When he transcends the common limitations
through his wisdom, then he becomes a human.
