The funny thing is I have 2 dvd/vcr players that I have bought in the last 5 yrs. Why did I do that if I have only watched one VHS tape in that time? DOH!!

Yea I do. I actually buy and sell them on ebay. You need to get out your collection and make yourself some $$$$ girl! you'd be suprised how much extra cash you can make.

I still have many. I watch them from time to time but my niece and nephew watch VHS all the time. They even know how to put it in the tvr and watch a movie without help(they ar 2-3years old). The only reason I watch the few I have is because I'm not going to go out and buy a DVD of a VHS that I already have.

I still own many but I don't watch them anymore. I'm all dvd now. But I still have a vhs player b/c you need that to watch the vhs tapes. I'll hold on to it for as long as I possibly can.

Yes, I have a lot of VHS tapes (about 60) which I frequently watch. I also have about 70 DVDs which I often watch.

Yes! I used to work at a video store in the 90s so I have TONS Of VHS and I just can't bear to throw them away! Many I haven't replaced (on DVD) yet so I just keep them. I have two combination vcr/dvd players in my apartment so it's easy to watch either. Of course a DVD is more convenient, but still! :-)

No but the dumbest thing they ever done was make dvd's due to them scratching so easy and every time you rent one to watch, you get to the good part of the movie and it either stops or skips through. Makes me so mad. Then you take it back for credit and some of the managers there think you are trying to just get a free movie. Like I can't afford a $2.00 movie for a night.

Yeah, VHS tapes are great. Especially since everyone wants to upgrade to DVDs. I've found that I can buy them super cheap.

Not only do we own and occasionally watch - we still use the VCR if we want to "tape" something. How's that for old school?
