Dear Skzippo, congratulation to you as you are having the PC with optimal performance on Windows Vista Home Premium, and it is enough for you to proceed to Windows Vista Ultimate by purchase upgrade packs at Microsoft Website http://www.windowsanytimeupgrade.com when you need it.

To get Windows Vista running in basic mode, a very minimum requirement for system memory is 384MB.

Microsoft recommends 1GB memory to allow the user enjoys all Windows Vista features, including Windows Aero interface which require high performance graphic card.
