If ever I was able to make my city improve maybe the step i have to do is to implement an ordinance which both the lower class and the middle class people will the first to benefit. Raise an infrastructure even non-infrastructure projects and jobs for the jobless. The most important is, shelter, clothes and foods, to those homeless, naked and hungry poor people. It will be the first thing i will do. If every family have their own home, have food and clothes maybe the city don't need to progress anymore. But if people really want progress in their cities or towns everything depends to the city officials and to the persons who had given the tasks to do such for the improvement of the city, and of course with the cooperation of the people who want a progressive city. It depend to every individual how do they cooperate and unite to reach progress. Progress cannot be seen through the counts of the buildings, the towers not either even the beautiful houses but it should be seen first from the smallest but the very important part in the community which is THE PEOPLE.

I would start off by gathering the Community to see what Professionals were willing to offer as far as services for our homeless Population.
Our Mayor is Alan "Bubba" Autry from television.
Our homeless situation is a sad one. People turn a blind eye. When the Twin Towers happened my Town was able to raise 5 million dollars in cash donations to send over there.
People in our own backyard are starving and freezing cold!
It's sad! I alway's say to people you better hope you're never in that position, because the people you turn your back on today could be laying right next to you sleeping in the future.
So there. That's my dream! That's what I would do.

Tough question; there many choices so lets see; Well building houses and schools for the poor is great idea ..I would do it too but there one missing ingredient here....exercise centers for both the adults and children... keeping up great health must be a top priority too.

I would electrocute sexual preditors. All rapists and child molesters would die so no one would have to spend a lifetime remembering what happened to them. That would improve our city immensely.

i would find doctors and nurses who are in their profession to actually help people and not to get rich off sick people and help them to come together to open free clinics, hospitals and physical therepy centers to help people be able to get off the system or disability (if possible). also i would start a campaign that encourages helping your neighbor in all ways possible.
