Scientist invented so many useful tools and machinaries for the comforts of man kind! But, I fear, televisions, more than do good, they give the negative impacts and it seem an imposed threat on the human society!! Nowadays, in India, more particularly in Tamil Nadu state, the motion pictures and tele serials, are in bad shape and propogates sensual arousals and unimaginable voilence in the minds of the people! As a psychologist I am, I see it as an unwanted negative datas imposed in the minds of the childrens and adults in their sub-conscious mind, as to how to be criminals, if some thing goes against their expected desires! Yes, the medias educate in all its length and breadth HOW THE CRIMES HAPPENED..VIA.. THE DAILY NEWS, AND HOW CAN IT BE DONE...IN THE TELE SERIALS!
The net result is.... the adults & children are in clear picture as to how to do all criminal works on others, in times of need!! MY QUESTION:
ARE THESE SUCH TELECASTS NECESSARY 4 A NATION & WHAT WE &GOVT HAVE 2 DO?

You are cent percent correct. These tele serials are giving all those ideas to the youth who are more or less do not want to take up their responsibilities and are less interested to perform their duties and have a negative approach towards their life, how to conduct an operation successfully to ruin their life and thereby lead their parents to a misrable state.The Govt.should put a full stop on these tele serials which are showing destructive ideas and there should be a censor board for the serials also. If by means of serials, crimes are getting enhanced, such serials should be reported to the concerned chairman of the channel with a request to stop its forecast and if it is not stopped immediately, a PIL should be filed in the concerned High Court to stay the forecast of such objectionable serials which are coming to the household.

As you know in today's Technical advancement adversities are iavaitable. Tele serials are spoiling the minds of youth not only in Tamilnadu but everywhere. Television is also known as an Idiot box but we should good enough to take rigth things out of it. To combat this problem I think social awareness is needed, it starts from one's own home, parents should be coutious enough to watch the activities of thir own children.
