GOOD question...Other people have already given you the obvious answers, but REAL love....the kind that will keep you married for life,is a DECISION.It is an act of your will. For example,My darling Angel cheated on me after 8 years of marriage. After I kicked the guys ***,I took her to dinner and told her how much it hurt me.Then I explained to her that when I said "till death do us part" Thats what I meant.I brought her breakfast in bed the next morning, which is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.
Even though I did not feel love for her right then,I did it anyway.I can not always control my feelings, but I can control how I act.If you do that, the feelings will come back,as strong as ever !!
We reconciled, and had 3 more wonderful years together, and another little girl, then we lost our sweet Angel when God took her home at the age of 29....I love her just as much today as the day I married her.THAT is the kind of Love that works.

The true meaning of love is knowing that you always have someone on your side even when it doesn't feel like it.

Opposite of apathy, (hate is a twisted form of love). Love gives you wings and flies you towards your dreams.

well to me, when i write endless poems, endless love letters, when i only think about her, when i know i would give my life for her, spending nights thinking of her, willing to give up anything for her, when i love her more than i do myself, but yet she doesn't care for me
