Surprisingly, Rolf Harris does a great version. He also does an interestingly different version of Stairway to Heaven. He might seem like a bit of a joke, but he can surprise you (if you get beyond Two Little Boys!!)

Dude! Thank you! Tom Waits is the first name to come to mind, even as this is one of the oldest songs in my memory bank! In fact, I can't even name another artist who comes close to Wait's feel for the song. For more on "Waltzing Matilda" check this out:

Its in the ears of the listener.its a good hearty song.I have never heard a bad version.GOOD onya MATE.
