There is a wonderful lady across the street and we find her perfectly delightful, she is warm , friendly. I am not sure that I really understand the question, was I suppose to find fault with a Filipino? I would have to know a lot more but those that I do know I mostly like and they like me and my family.
Eddit note; I should also tell you that she ( The lady across the street ) is a wonderful cook.

At first for some reason I thought their culture was alot like the Asian culture..or vice versa I don't know, until my husband told me that the culture was more like Spanish culture. He had gone there while in the military. .I've never been and don't know any Filipino's personally. So that is really the only impression I've really ever had and I don't know why I thought that.

Hey, I'm filipino. ^^
I see a regular filipino as a wild person, probably a nurse, who kicks some a** at karaoke. They eat with their hands and find no problem with it, and lead an almost carefree life. All the ones I know love to travel and gamble. Like, addicting travel and gambling.

I have many friends from the Philippines and they are very nice people. They are, too, quite creative. They can have nothing and turn it into something, they are quite resilient. For the most part, they are just like anyone else, they are people.
Kumusta to all of you!

someone who is used to mediocrity and alway like to be flattered by their simple acts of goodness and generosity, for lack of better words they are alway asking for some sort of approval of some sort, they try to do more thing thats superficials than trying to improve themselves, its amazing that when they are in other places they can easily follow simple rules and regulations but in their own countries and cities they are undisciplined, always breaking up laws and can'T wait to go around whatever it is that is supposed to be followed, in manila alone which i happen to visit for a couplle of weeks i saw such brazen act of not following simple traffic rules and regulations, politicians who are abusive of their powers, public servants who thinks that the public should serve them instead of the other way around, etc. etc. i like and enjoy my visit but it could be more enjoyable if only you could see a little more discipline and more concerned about the countries well being all around.... PHILIPPINE IS ONE HELL OF A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO VISIT WITH LOTS OF NICE HAPPY,BEAUTIFUL SMILING PEOPLE ONLY IF THEY WILL TRY HARDER TO COOPERATE TO IMPROVE THE PLACE IN EVERYWAY IT NEED TO BE!!!! AND PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY, TRY TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!. ALWAYS AIM FOR THE BEST AND ONLY THE BEST!!!

I have friends that are Philapino and they are fun loving people. Do not take this wrong, but I think of them as the Mexicans of the Orient.
