As I sit here all alone, another night inside my head

not satisfied with the day, not quite ready to go to bed

I look back at each day and ask myself what did I do

Why is it that at the end of each day I feel so blue

Am I not trying enough to fill the validation I so desperately need

Do I dread the battle of trusting someone so much that I would rather bleed

Has it not been said that there is someone out there for everyone

Is it not true that at a certain age you are done?

Where does Destiny fit in when you feel you don't belong?

Where is your self control when you listen and cry to a song?

Where is the person who was as hot as they come?

Did he dissappear? Did he go away? Is he hiding writin his own song?

The person is increasingly living inside their mind. They find it hard to look outside and see blue sky, clouds. rain and all the living growing things. I would advise them to seek advice even from their GP as going too far down this road can lead to despair and suicidal tendencies.
I know for I have been there. Skies are blue, rain will clear and we are here for you.

i think the writer is finally sitting down calm enough to ask these questions in order for somehow to answer them for themself.
trying to learn to accept himself. i think the writer is still scared
of trusting, being hurt somehow before. wanting validation from others but he has to validate himself and not let others validate him. that is too much power for someone else to have.
i think its good that the writer has got these questions out finally.
its hard to answer or seek answers if they arent written out and contemplated further.
i dont think its about suicide, because i write poetry as well.
and when i write its like putting feelings and questions on paper in order to really see the depth of a person.

The writer feels lonely, depressed, powerless. It's almost like the writer feels trapped, they can't get out, does not know what to do. He/she is in a spin. He/she is tired of fighting for what they deserve, be it happiness, love, what ever. He/she feels unappreciated / not valued.

I so think this poem is apt for how I am feeling...
as I read this, I felt despair, lonliness, darkness, being scared, not trusting anyone..
No age should one say that one is "done" .. only when one commits to oneself then they can say " i did all I could" ...
destiny is not a commitment.. it's a reality..

Wow are you sad and lonely or what?
You really need a friend, maybe a pet.
I know I've been there! Hang in there
by the way I loved your poem!

it implies that the person is very alone,
and contemplating their life choices, and feeling thier life is over.
