Hopefully he will win so we can see him in his real passion- Scaring people to death with Fiction.
In real life politics he failed.

No worries. It's almost a lock that he will win.
His documentary was a phenomenal success, and a very important film too. The Academy recognizes that. Thus, Mr. Gore has a very good shot of winning.
This may be "an inconvenient truth" for some, but many people admire Al Gore, and what he stands for.

I'm pretty sure he'll win the majority of the votes, but due to some arcane technicality another intellectually inferior winner will be selected by the academy. You win some, you lose some and then there's that other thing.

Yes he probably will -- he's the favorite in his nominated category. They should give him a subsidiary award too for the "Best Cleavage on the Red Carpet" category. On a more serious note, it is rumored that he's going to announce his 2008 presidential bid at the Oscars... so watch out for that!

I think he will, because the film was excellent and because Hollywood likes him. I hope he wins on Sunday and in 2008 too.

who cares? its the Oscars..these award shows are based on popularity contests..much like the Grammys..and whatever he is nominated for i hope to God he does not win. I hate that guy with a passion...dont know why...just do.
