Yah, Clint Malarchuk's skate to the neck is easily the worst. I remember watchen that game when I was like 8 or 9 with my dad. I think I had nightmares for awhile. I was glad my league made us wear neck protectors. Scary sh!t.

The worst I ever saw at a game was when the San Diego Gulls hosted a Russian National team. One of the Russian players got a high stick in the face. He was tended to on the ice. As he was assisted skating off the ice, he left a red trail of blood from all the way across the ice to the bench.

Yeah that was the worst. The second worst was an old video of Connie Madigan (minus the helmet) getting hit over the head with a stick during a Western Hockey League game. I thought the guy killed him.

yeah thats the worst hockey injury i ever saw. When i first saw it damn i got freaked out cause all of that bllod. But to me most of the time the worst hockey injuries are when players get hit by the puck because we all know the puck usually goes 90-100 mph.

No doubt about it, Chris Malarchuck's (i think that's how u spell it) injury was the worst. A player on the visiting team came to then net. There was a collision and his skate went up and cut Chris' jugular vein. Blood was spilling all over the place and it was possible that he could have died.

Of course, there is that one injury that killed the guy. One guy got stepped on his face!

I would have to say the worst hockey injury that I ever saw was when Todd Bertuzzi mauled Adam Foote a couple of years ago.

I would have to go with the Malarchuk skate to the neck incident. After that is when Kevin Stevens got hit from behind and passed out before he hit the ice. He fell straight down on his face. Smashed just about every bone on his face. Just seeing him not being able to get his hand and or arms up to protect himself was brutal enough. When his face was the first thing to hit. WOW that was ugly.

Hey sharks fan it is CLINT Malarchuck not Chris.

but yeah the Malarchuck incident was worse. they say that if the ambulance was on the other side of the rink he would have died thats how close he came.
and then after that was the puck to Yzermans eye in the playoffs a few years back. but yeah malarchuck is #1
