My aunt has one, and I drove it once or twice. It's a nice riding car. It has easy-to-access controls, a big-time-luxury feel to it, and an overall good ride. So, why is Daimler-Chrysler canning it?

Where did you hear Mercedes is cancelling the C-Class? Looks like the new one is on its way: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=119276#22

The "C" Class Mercedes Benz is most definately NOT being canned.

The "C" Class has been completely redesigned from the tires up and will have many of the options not previously available to this Class. It will be released shortly as a 2008 model.

I think it is Damlier Chrysler that is cancelling Chrysler from it's corporate umbrella, and returning Damlier Chrysler to DamlierBenz.

The C class is to MBZ as the 190E was:a cash cow, and no signs of slowing down.
