I think Dwight Howard got jipped on that one dunk. First of all he jumped freakin high and he put the sticker on the backboard. I think at least he should have gotton creativity points. But what do you think?

12 ft 6 inches. Thats how high Dwight Howard jumped, put the sticker on the backboard, and dunked the basketball! Nobody else in the dunk competition could have done that. And he got a lousy 42! I think it was the 2nd best dunk to Green's no look over Nate. And even that dunk didn't score to high. But yet Green got a 50 for jumping over a table? You tell me which one was more difficult to pull off. A 3ft table or Nate Robinson? Yea, this years Dunk Contest was a joke.

The only problem with Dwight Howards dunk was that it didn't leave an imediate impression. This was similar to Vince Carter's famous elbow dunk in the contest in Oakland; the judges just weren't sure what he had done. They only have a few seconds to make a decision so they fairly or not go by gut reactions. If he had told them what he was going to do it would have been different.

I think that the judges didnt take the sticker part into consideration also that they thought that the dunk was too plain and i agree with them because it would have been better if he did that with a windmill that wouldve gotten him at least a 9

How could they not give that a 50? He ended up getting the lowest score in the round for the best dunk in the competition

Yeah... he got jobbed on that dunk. Kenny The Jet was right... Maybe he should have tipped them by giving them all a sticke before the dunk. It was great creativity.

And how funny was the sticker itself with his smiling head???

Yeah I agree with you ....he was robbed of good points for that dunk ...they tried to say that the judges put the scores up before they noticed the sticker.. either way he deserved more points

I totally agree with you. The dunk competition was a bore to me, but that dunk that Dwight did was my favorite.

yeah,i agree that dunk has to be at least a 47..

gerald green jumping over the table got a higher score than tyrus thomas over gordon because thomas just did i plain albeit left handed slam, whereas green's feet were at least 2ft above the table plus he did a windmill..

Howard got robbed and so did Thomas. Thomas jumped over a PERSON and got a 40ish. Gerald Green jumped over a little box and got a 50. A little consistency in the judging please?
