No, ofcorse not.
There is no doubt about the abilities of irfan pathan, he had given trouble to most of the top batsman of world today.
But his recent form has been a worry, he bowled poorly on the south african tour, and got just one game against the west indies.
Now there are question marks on his fitness (sore shoulder injury).
If he is fit, he would definately go to the world cup, because of his batting abilities which is a bonus along with his swinging delevries
he bowls.
so it all depends on fitness, thats what selectors have said, if he is fit he would go to the world cup, he just have to prove his fitness

The place of Irfan Pathan will be dependent of his fitness and not form. What Dilip Vengsarkar had told him that he can go to West Indies only if he proves his fitness and not his form. If he is able to bowl and bat in the Duleep Trophy Match at Ahmedabad without and problem, he will defeniely go to West Indies irrespective of his performance,

Its not the form but the fitness in question. If he is fit to bowl, bat and field, he will go ahead with the other players. However, if he is not fit, why he should be chosen. you want a team to be chosen from 15 players and not 14.
