was Plame an undercover agent as the left suggest or was she just some desk clerk at cia like the right suggest. My understanding is she was in charge of a company that was a front for the cia called Bruster Jennings and she did intelligence concerning wmds......what was her status when her identity was blown by this administration?

She was considered a NOC( non official cover). This meant that if she was caught in enemy territory, she would have been disavowed by the CIA. Original Mission Impossible movie premise but in real life.
The State Dept memo that was issued with her credentials on it indicated she had secret status.
The undercover company she worked for Brewster Jennings had been in the process of getting human intelligence in place to look into WMD in Iran when Robert Novack outted her.
This destroyed any work done by her or anyone with Brewster Jennings anywhere in the world.
We have yet to find out just how much damage was wrought by this move by the Bush cabal.
The Scooter Libby trial might be about the cover up but that is the problem. The lies which resulted in Mr Fitzgerald not being able to find out who did what and when and why.
Good going.
Just because Ambassador Wilson called them out about lying to the American people and the Congress to gin up the war in Iraq.

No was not! She was a CIA Staffer, and not a field agent as the left states. They believe that if they say that she was an agent often enough, that it will become the truth.

She was not among the invisibles.
She was an office person

Her status wasn't blown by the adminstration although some like to believe it.

She blew her own cover.
