Because she wanted to gain control of a life that has railroaded her.
I've done it myself.
Completley liberating....for about five minutes...until you realize you are bald and will be for a decent amount of time....
then you go buy a wig....
and then you feel foolish for wearing a wig and realize that who you are has nothing to do with attractiveness....
I dare everyone who critisizes her to do the same.
And no...I am not a Spears fan
