Formula = y=mx+b
m(slope) is -2
b(y value)= 1
first your you plot (0,1) as your orgin. Start from there and remember rise/run. Go down 2 and go right 1 keep going.
The other way is go up 2 and go left 1.
hope this helps.

I would start by setting up a table of values for Y.
When
X Y
-1 3
0 1
1 -1
2 -3
Plot these points and you should have a start to your graph. Add more numbers so you can see that shape and connect the lines. If you want to check you answer, try an online graphing calculator that will plot points for you.

Y is the variable on the vertical part, and x is the variable on the horizontal part. What the +1 means is where the line hits the y-axis, or the vertical line, where x=0. The -2x means that for every 2 steps you take up, you take 1 step to the left (negative).
The way I remember that is slope is equal to "number of steps up" over "number of steps over." So I say "Up 2, over 1." (2 over 1 is 2/1=2.)
Hope that makes sense.

well the form of this is y=mx+b
-2 is your slope ( if ur slope has a negitive sign you know ur line will be pointing to the left)
1 is your y -axis (you alwayz graph your y axis first)
put a point on 1 on the y-axis(0,1)
go down 2 from that point and over 1
do it 6 moe time and draw a line (connect the points)

Equation is in the form y=mx+c
So y intercept is (0,1)
Gradient is -2
Plot the point (0,1)
Move one to the right and down 2. This is the second point (1,-1)
Draw a straight line through these points

Easy. The equation is in slope/intercept form as is. the slope is -2, the y-intercept is (0,1). Just draw the graph using the given point and the sope.

starting from the origin, go up 1. that's ur first point. then from 1, go down 2. that's gonna be in -1. then from -1, go across by 1.
ur first point is (0,1) then ur 2nd point is (1,-1). then graph

You've asked four math questions in a row. Maybe you should actually try working it out and learn it rather than having someone give you the answers.
