Go to Post Office and buy the money order there. Then fill out the information and mail it regular mail. IF you're worried about it getting lost then send it in a certified letter.

You're kidding, right? Are you seven years old? Everyone knows about the US Postal service. You should have bought the money order at the Post Office. They would sell you a stamped envelope too and tell you how to mail it. You will need your friend's address. It won't get there for a couple of days though. Hope that's not a problem. You can still take the money order you have to the post office with your friend's address and they will mail it for you. But your friend is not going to be able to cash it unless they have a bank account with at least as much money in it as the money order is for. If you had sent a Postal money order your friend could have cashed it at the post office. Now they will have to put it in the bank and wait ten days for the money order to be processed by the company that issued it to the store. Maybe your friend has a parent or friend with an account who can deposit it for them and give them the cash in the meantime. Your last hope is to return to the store where you bought the money order. Tell them you don't need it anymore and ask them to cash it back for you. Then take the money to the post office and get a real money order. Even a bank money order has to be deposited adn waited for nowdays. Cashier's checks too. They are too easy to forge. But any post office will cash a money order purchased at another post office. Good luck

Purchase the money order where they are sold, and just put it in an envelope and send it by regular mail, or if you need to, by registered mail. Have you considered using a regular bank check? These can be certified, as a proof that the money will be paid, and are a lot cheaper. Better than sending cash. You can also have a regular bank transfer from your account to another person's account, which is safe and quick. Best wishes

well go to a convienience store and get a money order, or a bank and get a cashiers check.. Keep the stub that is supplied with eighther!! and FILL IT OUT!
Don't worry about it getting stolen in the mail or any thing you can by a privacy envelope or fold some paper and make you own wnvelope at home.. when you send anything make sure you have put ample postage on it. You can get it wieghed (metered) to make sure you have enough postage on it.
basically it's not a really big deal.. you can also get money orders at wal-mart. the post office for like 99cent, or many grocery stores grocers sell stamps too somtime

Where are you sending it from? And where to? Are you in the U.S.? Here in the U.S.. you would go down to the supermarket customer service desk and buy it, Take it home, fill it out, tear off the receipt for your records. Put the money order into an envelope, address seal and stamp, and mail it.

Go to where ever you get money orders (in Australia go to the post office), get the money order, put it in an envelope along with an explanation of what it's for (keep your receipt), address the envelope (with a return address as well to be on the safe side), add the required postage, post somewhere.

It's easy, you just go to the Post Office and buy one and send it. It is accepted everywhere in the world and you don't have to send someone a cheque that could be traced back to you.
