Right now we are deciding our own fate. We have global warming, over population, and nukes to worry about as well. But even if were to keep these things minimal, after a while the world would end on its own, by such things as disease, comet impact, or the sun burning out (which is very far away). Unless we find another planet to call home, we are destined to faliure, which is what i believe the human race is.... a faliure. I some-what care about it, but at the same time why should i when the people that make it that way dont. i think the species as one cares, but its the people in power that dont because they are worried about one thing, and thats $$$. We are basically f'ed in the a.

I think there are too many people who think the world is doomed. I thought that for a long time, and I think it was out of anger for my own life. I realized something, if we think we are doomed, we will be. If you don't have hope for our future, you're only forsaking us and the world itself.
1. Both
2. dont understand the question
3. I do believe you have a point here, I believe we need to stop trying to simplify every little thing, soon we won't have anything to do ourselves, and that will be a sad thing.
4. no idea

We're headed to our past, where else? Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. We got four more years of Bush, voodoo economics, war, oppression and neglect of the shrinking middle and lower classes. The upper 5% grew richer,
and we got history without wisdom. I've heard the U.S. described as, Internationally, the 18 year old male. I agree- immature, ego-centric, out for self gratification re: sex, music and stimulants. What a fine picture we make! Grow up, America, tear down the walls, literally and figuratively, and join the world. Choose LIFE.

Right now there is alot of greed in the world.... alot of "storms", but after every storm there is peace.
Majority of us are on the path of "quantity not quality." None of us like to be treated like that but the majority of us think like that.
Our environment is so fast paced and we dont have enough time to think for ourselves and face our own fears. So we follow like cattle.
We all need to recognize that characteristics of being afraid, hopelessness, greed, extreme competitiveness, disrespect and selfishness are the ingrediants for self destruction.
To many people have those characteristics and not enough of the quality characteristics such as honor, respect, passion and compassion. Most people are following like "cattle" to think for themselves and they are just mimicking others until one day they have to face reality, recognize it and change themselves.
Its called being "mentally strong"
We all need to work hard to eliminate those traits and replace them with the opposite. We use hope everyday and thats how you change. there is always hope.. use it to better yourself and those around you. Be more compassionate, people will see it, admire it and eventually they will mimic it.
I think it starts from each person individually, thats why its so hard to accomplish peace.
