The same as my view on any abortion at any point in pregnancy: it's wrong because killing innocent human beings is wrong, and that is exactly what every single abortion does.

By the time most women know they are pregnant (3 weeks after conception), their baby's heart is already beating. Virtually no surgical abortions are committed before 6-7 weeks, at which point the child has recordable brain waves and tiny fingers and is beginning to move in the womb. The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks. At 8 weeks, if an unborn baby's palm is pricked, he will open his mouth and pull his hand away. An ultrasound of an abortion of an 11-12 week old child shows the baby frantically trying to escape the suction instrument, as her heartrate doubles and her mouth opens wide. You can see this documentary (narrated by former abortionist and former head of NARAL Bernard Nathanson, MD) here:

By the way, even pro-aborts admit that most partial-birth abortions are NOT committed for "health" reasons. In February 1997, Ron Fitzsimmons (the executive director of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers), told the New York Times: "In the vast majority of cases, the procedure is performed on a healthy mother with a healthy fetus that is 20 weeks or more along." The procedure is performed as follows: First, labor is induced, usually in the fifth or sixth month of pregnancy, sometimes later. Next, the doctor pulls the baby through the birth canal by its legs, delivering the baby completely except for the head. He then thrusts scissors into the baby's head, opens them to make a larger hole, inserts a vacuum tube, and sucks the brains out of its head. The baby's skull collapses and the dead baby is disposed of.

Yes, I did just say that part of the procedure consists of jabbing scissors into a baby's head and then sucking its brains out. Does this not seem to be at least a little bit disgusting and barbaric to anyone? Partial-birth abortion is a heinous procedure that should be deplored by everyone who values human life on any level. Partial-birth abortion is a disgusting and violent act that should not be allowed in such a humane society as modern America.

I am typically pro-choice when it comes to abortion, but partial birth seriously disgusts me. I don't know how people can live with themselves after knowing about the procedure.. ugh. I still think women should have a choice, but I'm personally against it.

Lets say someone kills everyone in your family, rapes you and gets you pregnant. Do you want to reward the rapist with a child? Something is moral to do to a fetus if you would do the same thing to yourself. If I were the fetus in this situatiion, I would not want to burden a family with my life. To do so would be cruel.
And the same test can be used in every other situation regarding abortion. If you would not want to be a burden, then you cannot believe that aborting fetus in the same situation is wrong. The Bible says do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The baby did not ask to be conceived and had no choice in the matter. Why should a babies life be taken when he didn't ask to be concieved?
