As one answer had pointed out, happiness is a goal and I do believe that. What would life be like without happiness? Pure sadness and depression? If not to seek happiness, what then should we seek?

It is true that emotions are temporary, but that only means life isn't stagnant, it is constantly fluctuating, constantly changing so it is only right that we do not feel happy all the time.

But this doesn't mean we stop seeking happiness once things go bad. I think its the little hipcups and falls in life that makes being happy even more precious--because we aren't happy all the time.

Being happy is such a wonderful feeling and it is even more beautiful because it's so precious and so deserving of fighting for.

why shouldn't we seek after something that will make us in a state of bliss if only for a moment such as happiness the world has been turn on it's ear by men and woman seeking this sate of happiness so let the seek continue until it's found by one and all. and then and only then will happiness be unnecessary. lol

Emotions are reflections of mind. Mind is bunch of thoughts. Thoughts are never permanent, they change. Happiness is our natural state bestowed on us by Creator, God or by what ever name we may call. It the Goal of our Life.
