That's horrible. I just don't like the fact that you tried to make the white people look like the bad guys and the black people look like the good guys because just because they were white had nothing to do with the fact that they got their boyfriend thrown into prison or arrested someone for no reason. They are obviously bad people but you don't need to underline the fact that they were white. And you obviously did not meet every single white person on the planet. I didn't say "Im black so im innocent and kind and... wait a minute... im white... sorry, im white and racist and mean!"

Your question was extremely racist. I do feel sorry for those innocent "Blacks" who experienced such awful racism, but you are no better than those racist whites.

I know what you mean. A friend of mine was wrongfully accused of stealing checks from his job. The company supposedly did a quick investigation, didn't find the stolen property and then fired him. When security escorted him out the building, the police were outside waiting for him, then took him to jail. A few hours later he released and the officers at the jail told him that the charges had been dropped.

I have been questioned by cops for just sitting on own front porch, while they said nothing to the white family doing the same thing just across the street. To law enforcement blacks doing anything is suspicious I guess.

Many whites refuse to believe this, but police officer do use racial profiling. I've done ride alongs with police officers and have seen it first hand. For some reason they got this impression that were all doing something wrong. They also tend to be more cautious when dealing with blacks. When they approach a white suspect they are much more laid back and carefree.

First of all I would like to say that black people are not the only ones who are victims of racism.I am white and I can tell you the majority of my friends are black. Not that it matters to me.I like them for who they are not the color of their skin. The situations you have mention are terrible and I do sympathize with both of those men.But where I grew up the white boys got arrested just as much and sometimes for unjust reasons. What you are talking about isn't a matter of racism it is merely an example of a poor judicial system. And the way you come across makes you sound racist toward white people if we could all get past skin color we could work on other things in today society.

I once owned a 1968 black Cadillac Eldorado ( probably before you were born) They were a gorgeous car, big and beautiful! Kind of "pimpy or drug dealin' looking". I loved my car! I am a Scottish/Irish, blue eyed blonde and you do not get much paler than that! I would get stopped at least 4-5 times a week, any time of day! Running errands, dropping my Daughter at school, picking her up. Whatever! No traffic violations, no tickets, Nothing! It happens to us all. I realized, it had to be "the car". So I traded it in for a Lincoln! (dark brown) It seemed to work! Good luck!

I'm sorry about that, it sucks that there is still to this day racism. there shouldn't be, but there shouldn't be a lot of stuff, i can't say that I understand because I'm of the white descent, but I can say that I am also not fully white, as my good friend always jokes is that I hide behind a white face. I do see from behind my white face the hatred and intolerance of another country that we are at war with. I am half Arab and get to hear what should be done to all Arabs. I can't imagine looking of "typical" Arab descent. I'm kinda like the fly on the wall. Good Luck and hopefully the next generation won't have to deal with that crap when they get older. Unfortunately, there will always be racism of some sort. but hopefully we'll educate our kids and it will rapidly decline....

Unfortunately yes there is an awful lot of predudice and racism present today and it sucks. At least it's a lot better than the past and becoming less and less acceptable.

.....white and black, I've seen racism on both ends.

I've also seen racial profiling against Black people and it does suckl..we live in an affluent neighborhood and sometimes when I would have Black friends come over the police would come and harass them for absolutely no reason, I never had a problem with this with white friends or friends of any other race. It's sad when a few dirty, racist cops ruin for the majority. The racial profiling does need to stop.

Wow, you put up with all that crap? Would you rather be starving, dehydrated, or have A.I.D.S. like all your buddies back home? No? America all of a sudden seems like a better place? You like free health care, welfare, and racial quotas guaranteeing you jobs and college placement? I thought so. Stfu. I'm not saying our legal system is right, I'm just telling you to outright shut your chicken hole. Life sucks for me too, and I'm white. What do you want from me?

i do not positioned a ton of fee in those varieties of existence thoughts, myself and that i have had plenty. If someone needs to trust all whites are untrustworthy (or all blacks or inspite of), this perception will tinge how they view their adventure so that is authentic for them. it truly is why i fairly want the color eco-friendly. money talks, bs walks and that i do not care what color individual is doing the bs'ing. even if he's biracial and bigoted hostile to at least one/2 of himself, like Obama.

I think sad stories like this one only effects people within their own race these days. I feel where you are coming from, because I too read stories of innocent Black men going to prison. I think we are expected to be criminals when such criminal acts happen, that others can't identify when we are right. I think anyone would sympathize with their own race if their race was classfied as one with bad habits. Even though innocent people of any race go to prison, some people don't want to talk about one in particular race because of controversy. In some cases, it should be ok to sympathize and understand where someone is coming from.

Frederick Douglas once said to avoid punishment you had to avoid suspicion. It wasn't enough for a black person to be innocent, but a black person could not even afford to appear guilty.
