Okay here is the project there is a solid piece of wood with three holes cut through it , one hole is a circle hole, another hole is a isosceles triangle hole, and the last hole is a square hole. Now i need to find ONE shape and make a 3D model of it that will go through all three holes perfectly.
Hint: My teacher said try to combine a cone, a cylinder, and a pyramind into that ONE shape.

Now I need your guys help, PLEASE I need to pass ALgebra 1

It's possible to create a 3D shape such that it will fit snugly through a perfect square, equilateral triangle, and a circle, all of same side or diameter. Here's how you construct the object, you need to be able to visualize well in 3D space, or this isn't going to help you. First, draw a circle of diameter 1 on the table. Then, in midair draw a line of length 1 centered above the circle, such that the center of this line makes an equilateral triangle of sides 1 with the diameter of the circle below. Then connect the ends of the line to the circle below, which forms a perfect square of sides 1 with the diameter of the square, at right angles to the diameter that's part of the equilateral triangle. Once you have this framework of circle, triangle, and square, finish drawing more straight lines from the top line to the circle, as to make a 3D surface of a solid, the kind of lines that you'd get if you sliced the solid with a meat slicer, where all the pieces would be isosceles triangles, starting from a line to an equilateral triangle and back to a line again.

Either you'll get this, or you will never.

That doesn't sound like an algebra project...

Well, a cone would be a circle on one side and an isosceles triangle when rotated, but I can't think of any way to make it fit through a square hole. A square pyramid would fit the triangle and the square but not the circle. A cylinder would fit the circle and the square but not the triangle. Sorry if that doesn't help much.
