they are done with full time wrestling. the rock has a budding career in acting in hollywood. austin is following suit and he can't wrestle anymore due to various injuries.
they may be involved in wrestling in the future doing cameos and promotional stuff. but you won't really see them in the ring week in week out wrestling.

Neither Rock or Austin are listed on the Raw WWE.com website. Austin will be back to guest referee the Donald Vs Vince match. I do believe he will somewhere down the line come back for a big match or two. I hope its with Hogan, but don't hold your breath. Rock doesn't even have a contract with WWE and I don't see him coming back in the near or far future, if atall. A few weeks ago both Rock and the WWE were in the same town and Rock didn't even come by. Plus Rock isn't a big fan of Triple H and his politics stemming all the back from his Rocky Maivia days.

They both have contracts that allow them to come back for specific storylines, but they are both done as far as full time wrestling. You will only see them once in a while and I know with the Rock it is up to the rock when that is... I think Stone Cold has the same deal.

I heard that both of them will be making a return this year, Austin will be back to promote some new film of his, and the Rock will also return, this is according to what Jim Ross said a few weeks earlier..

i think their contract entails them to come back every now and then when there is a storyline that needs to be told. there too busy with their movie/singing/modeling career.
