So what if naruto managed to beat sasuke and they brought him back to konoha, wouldn't he just run away again? I don't understand, if he really wants to go... you can't force him to stay right? Any thoughts, opinions, insight...??

Doesn't make much sense, does it? I think if he killed Itachi before they came to bring him back (..again), he would be more likely to go as it would get him out of the deal with Orochimaru. Maybe they're planning to keep him hostage or in solitary confinement. Or, perhaps being beaten by Naruto would make him realize that he's still weaker (and a pompous ***) and he would go back to Konoha willingly and take a different approach to kill Itachi. I find most of these improbable.. Sasuke is one tough cookie to figure out sometimes. There's still that mysterious "secret of the Uchiha clan" that we don't know about too.

if he thinks that naruto is stronger than him he might stay, plus he might be under the influence of various kabuto made drugs as well as the curse seal so with some work from Tsunade then he might be able to be partially cured from the drugs at least and they can keep him there, in a high security chakra suppressing prison cell until they've convinced him that orochimaru can't help him by pointing out that itachi is stronger than orochimaru or something like that

Sasuke would have ran again, I think. When Naruto gets beat or surpassed, he tries hard to overcome it--he doesn't take it personally. When Sasuke loses, he takes it personally.

if sasuke lost, he would maybe (i'm talking about 0.1 out 100) thank naruto and become super good friends and the series would probably end. i asked myself the same question.

naruto trys to bring him back twice and failed twice, all sasuke really wants is to kill itachi, so in the latest chapter, sasuke is about to kill orochimaru, because he can't teach him anything else, honestly i think sasuke might die, but we will find out soon i hope.

from what i know, and believe, he'll stay, so he can help them to defeat the akatsuki [and itachi] and anyways he'll probaly return to konaha on his own.........from what i know [ and yes it's real ]
