Yahoo! Answers Beta was launched on December 7th, 2005. It was originally released on the US site. Yahoo! Answers India came into existence on 21st April 2006. Since then Yahoo! Answers has been launched in many more countries. You can see all the additions by clicking on one of the flags at the bottom of the screen.

I have always wondered this too. I saw it when they were asking the ciara question. Was it on way before that?
