Well I know that bbt has to be taken same time everyday before you get out of bed..so thats kind of a pain if you dont really have a set schedule.....I use clear blue easy fertility monitor and I just think its wonderful....the first month using it is a little tough because it gives you a wide range of med and high days until it adjusts to your cycle...but once it does its great...I heard, but never used, the saliva kit was pretty good since it uses distinct patterns to tell you when you ovulate...as far as the black cohash and ovulex, I dont know ,sorry...Like I said I love the fertility monitor because its so easy to use and everything is digital so you dont have to decipher how light or dark a line is....Hope this helped a little...Good Luck!

My friend used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor and thinks its wonderful but takes a month or so to really be accurate. Its also a good buy if your planning on having more than one child in your future seeing as they do cost more than the other options.

BBT's are more or less for tracking your fertility over a period of a few months, because once your temperature rises, you've most likely already ovulated. You also have to take your temp close to the same time every morning, get at least 8 - 10 hours of sleep, and not get up during the night.

I prefer OPK's, but if you do use these, make sure you start the day after your period. I went two months starting about a week after my period because thats what I had read but come to find out I ovulated 2 days after my period.

I read saliva kits are very accurate but never used one. Just read it online. so who knows how reliable that is.

I dont know anything about the others. Sorry.

but good luck!
