Everyday on the news you hear about a kid missing and the kid is usually white.

Why do white kids keep wondering off?

I don't think white kids come up missing any more than any other race. But it is the mainstream American media that brings these cases to the attention of the public.
Sad but true.... A minority child from an impoverishered area cannot be found for 6 hours, no big deal. A white child from an affluent area is can't be found for 45 minutes, Call out the National Guard.
I live in the St. Louis area and I am sure most everyone heard about the Hornbeck/Ownsby case. That itself was nothing short of a miracle. I don't care what color those kids were, that was a miracle. And since the national attention is that why all of a sudden "White people can't keep up with their kids"

LOL! I know you aren't really asking this question sincerely. Instead you're trying to counteract the extreme (and extremely stupid) racism on Y!A, as demonstrated by the ridiculous questions StormFrontFan, Patriot07, HoSwede (misspelling intentional), Isaac Newton, A** Rip Rock and others ask. I appreciate the effort, but others have brought up what could be the real issue: the black kids just aren't covered as much by the media.

The answer you get depends on the question you ask. Why does the media report missing white kids more than missing black kids?

I agree with incubabe.... i love all children no matter what color but i truly think its the media that dont care enough for colored kids to make a big deal abt it. Just recently tho there was a thing on the news abt some black children being kidnapped at a mall. It doesnt matter what color it can happen to ANYONE doesnt really mean the parents are bad. You can blink your eye and poof. gone.

I dont no about that. My cousin kid was at the neibors house for 6 days before she noticed he gone. I dont think all blacks watch there kids too good. I would a wupped her but I was in DOC at hte time.

Blacks usually abandon their kids in less than a year of their birth.
You have some white guilt issues, brother. You have to get out of this liberal mindset that I was once in too.

because its white people that are usually snatching the kids. And they stick out like a sore thimb running around with a black baby.

ur right that is true. ive never really thought about it. ha. but i will tell u this. im white but i no where my kids are at all times. especially in the stores.

No, its not just white people, you just dont hear about the others probably because they're not white. Thats the media for yuh! ; )
